I have a large splint basket that was in my great grandfathers goose neck sleigh. It has wooden runners on the bottom and tin stays worked into the sides on both ends. It is imprinted with the indian head and says Shelton Basket. It has what appears to be some sort of canvas or fabric handles on each end. Could anyone help me indentify and find the worth of this large basket? It was purchased around the the late 1800s in Connecticut.
