Hi Basketmakers,

Want to learn how to make baskets from the most rampant of Southern vines? The Natural Fibers Group is sponsoring a Kudzu Workshop with Nancy Basket, a wonderful fiber artist of Cherokee descent. Nancy will
discuss finding, collecting and processing kudzu, then teach two baskets: random weave and coiled.

The workshop is open to the public as well as NFG members. NFG members must have their registration in by September 15.

The workshop is on October 29th in Washington, NC. If you live close enough to attend, we would love to meet you there. It will be a unique and fun event!
